Logging into Cito is done via Passkey or TOTP (2-factor) authentication.
  • On first login, you will be prompted to verify your email via Magic Link.
  • Once logged in, you must add either a Passkey or TOTP 2FA as a further security layer.
  • Users can use their Google or Github accounts to authenticate to Cito.

Managing users

You can manage users by clicking on your username in the bottom left corner of the navigation bar, then team. From there you can add and manage admins or guest users.

User roles

There are three specific role types for Cito users
  • Owner This is the master user linked to the Prostack portal. This role type ‘owns’ one or more Cito servers, and has access to all sites and settings.
  • Admin Admins have access to all Cito sites, and can grant access to Guests (see below). You should add all new Admins via the new Team page.
  • Guest A guest is a user that has access limited to one or more sites. Owners and Admins can control what sites a Guest has access to via the Team page. A guest with permissions to a single site can only access the files, settings and databases for that site.
Guest users are useful when you wish to grant a user access to a limited set of sites on a server. If you have any questions or feedback, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
